The easy trail options do not require a lot of rock crawling to navigate the trail. Having prior experience with rocky terrain will be helpful for harder, more adventurous trail options.

We welcome all Dodge and Ram 4x4 vehicles. If you have a flat fender from the 40s or any Dodge truck since then we would love to see you out. It does not have to be a power wagon, nor does it have to be the most modern.

We would like to emphasize that this is a group experience. We want all participants to have a positive experience. We understand breakdowns happen but bringing out an untested or trail proven build can cause major delays for the whole group and this is not fair to everyone.

Our guides are all experienced at making trail repairs when necessary. We will never leave a participant on trail or behind. We would like to remind everyone that we are here to wheel for multiple days and to make good decisions. This is a group experience and we want all to have a great experience (no need to drive up every single thing we see, or to have a horsepower showdown).

For the most part the modern Dodge/Rams are very tough. However, a common area for failure is damage to the driveline. Driveshafts are not rock sliders.
Another area of failure are the axle tubes spinning on the center housing. This is more common on the high-torque Cummins. Welding the housing and axle tubes as well as axle truss’s are good measures for those planing to wheel hard on 4×4 trails.
